Hello cashmere lovers! Shameless plug asking for votes because... well... it's my blog and I can! HA!
My husband just entered one of our pictures from our honeymoon in a contest to win a pair of German Rail Passes for our next trip to Europe. The contest is entirely vote-based, so if you have a second, please go vote for his picture! Thanks everyone!

Check out this month's issue of Men's Health! I was interviewed for an article (it was cut down to a little mention, unfortunately). Regardless, my name is in Men's Health Magazine and that's exciting! I guess I'm officially a cashmere expert now ;o)

Soooooo I've been doing some hard core googling tonight and I found that Restoration Hardware Baby & Child is having a sale on their baby cashmere right now! Some great gift options are on their site right now, including a sweet cashmere bootie and hat gift set for only $39. That's really reasonable... REALLY reasonable. Retail is $49 and I think that's a reasonable price, too! Baby Bootie/Hat Gift Set
Guess what I found tonight?! A clothing brand in the UK that is devoted entirely to cashmere clothes for kids!! They do offer overseas shipping so I'm excited to try them out and see what the quality is like! Take a peek, cashmere lovers! Stellina Baby How adorable is this little jacket??

Some of you may know that I now have a baby girl named Evelyn! She's one lucky girl to have a mom like me (if I do say so myself... Being a mom is one of the few things I think I'm actually good at!) Not only does she get a charming, funny, and nice mother, she gets a crafty one who insists on making her lots and lots of cashmere toys. One day while I was still pregnant with her, I decided to make a new toy because I was going stir crazy with nesting. Here's what I came up with:
An owl! Okay, it's an owl/Shrek... I call it the Shrowl... This is a prototype. I just want to be clear. LOL. I cut it freehand without actually thinking about it too much. And so the owl ears turned into Shrek ears. She loves it anyways!! It's also survived quite a bit of baby spit up… And washing machine/dryer cycles. So, if you don't care about cashmere felting or shrinking, then throw it in the wash! If anybody has any funny creature special requests, send me a message through my website www.CashmereCreations.com

Welllll, we did it! I'm pregnant! I'm due in February and the timing couldn't be better. I get to spend all the chilly winter months in my cashmere! Yippee!!! I'll be posting stuff that I find (if anything) for babies and mommies-to-be... My mom and I went to a huge maternity consignment sale a couple weeks ago and managed to find ONE piece of cashmere for the baby! It's a little cream sweater with buttons down the front and is SO cute! I KNOW baby cashmere exists because I've seen it a million times on eBay, but I've not stumbled on maternity cashmere yet. You can bet our baby is gonna be snuggled up in it as much as I can manage, though. Good thing I'm crafty ;o) The hunt is on!!!!
