Cashmere Teddy Bears for the Holidays

Time for a shameless holiday gift plug:

As you may know, besides being known as the "Cashmere Connoisseur," I am also the founder and designer of Cashmere Creations- my website where you can design your own custom cashmere teddy bear from recycled cashmere fabrics!

Our teddy bears make fantastic gifts for new moms, children, or any other cashmere lover. We only use recycled cashmere and make each teddy bear by hand to your color specifications. Every bear is one-of-a-kind and will be a treasure for you (or someone you love) to own. We offer different sizes and will work with you to make that perfect holiday gift.

Here is an example of our smallest bears:

So, please stop by my site and take a look around! You might find something you just have to have...

Hi there! I have recently fell in love with cashmere, and I found your site! Thank you for all the great information you include here! I was wondering what your opinion was of "lower-end" brand names of cashmere, such as Land's End, Charter Club of Macy's, J.Crew, and Banana Republic.... I can't afford the more pricey Tse cashmere, but I would love your input as to whether or not the lower-end brands are worth it. Thanks so much!! :)

I apologize for not noticing your comment until this evening... this has become a trend of mine all of a sudden!

The "lower-end" brands you mentioned are actually quite nice. I would definitely recommend them to you!

In order of my preference, I would pick J Crew, Charter Club, Banana then Land's End. Banana Republic used to be really great, but their quality lately has been not quite as good, but still lovely! I would call these more middle than low-end. All of these brands offer quality and will last you a long time.

You will get more modern styles from J Crew and Banana, but Charter Club and Land's End have great basics.

I would steer clear of Old Navy's new line of 100% cashmere. THAT's what I call "low-end" along with George, Mossimo, etc.

I think I will write more about this later this month. I will review some of these brands individually for you and in more detail!

Thanks for your post!
